There are two variants,
Firstly a Full Thompson which uses all of 1-4 below
Secondly a Half Thompson which uses 1 , 2 & 4 below
The Changes are
| 1) | All the items in the Start Pack are available immediately. |
| 2) | For the purchase of the Start Packet only the dealing order is Player 1, Player 2, Player 3,
Player 4, Player 4, Player 3, Player 2, Player 1, Player 1 and so on until the Start Packet is sold out. The remainder of this first SR then continues normally, but with the direction currently in use. Subsequent SR's use the normal dealing order. |
| 3) | Once the SxE is sold out all the other companies, except the PrE, are available and can be purchased in any order. |
| 4) | When the first president's certificate after the SxE is purchased the PrE is also available. |
