This section is still under development.
As time passed so the areas covered by the Working Timetable (WTT) sections changed, some quite drastically, so those shown here are only really valid for the periods shown, early 1950s and from the mid 1950s to the early 1960s.
In the early 1950s Section M was Colchester Line Branches and Section, N was Liverpool Street Suburban District, O was Between London and Bishop's Stortford and Branches, P was Temple Mills to Woolwich North They are illustrated by covers from some WTTs in my collection or Stuart Pigg's collection, included with his permission, the index of the lines and the diagramatic maps included within them. as the illustrations below show.
The extent of all the sections can be deduced by studying the line diagrams.
Note that the M&GN section was called MGN.

During the mid 1950s the Great Eastern sections of the Eastern Region Working Timtables (WTT) were changed and lettered from J to P as shown below, illustrated by covers from some WTTs in my collection the index of the lines and the diagramatic maps included within them. Some WTTs included both Passenger and Freight trains whilst for others separate WTTs were issued for Passenger and for Freight. The maps in the sections now only included the lines within the section.
The former LTSR lines are not illustrated here as I do not have any of their WTTs in my small collection.
J - Main Line to Norwich via Cambridge
K - Cross Country Lines between Cambridge and Ipswich Main Lines
L - Main Line to Norwich via Ipswich
M - Former M&GN Lines
P - Former LTSR Lines
