John's 18XX Site -- 1829 Section
1829 North - Game 1829 T46 -
Greetings all and welcome to FourTrack Mainline 1829 T46,
This will be a 4 player game.
In dealing order the players are:-
David Hooton Shaun Goodwin Edward Denley Mike Ruffhead
The game will use the Northern map, MSK1, additional tiles nos. #60 & #67.
They start with £630 cash and are allowed to own up to 18 certificates.
As this is a 4 player game the GSWR, HR and FR will not be used and references to them will be removed from the maps in the game reports although they may appear on the map in the distributed zip file.
The Optional PC rule (PC sale back to Bank) will be used. This can be done during theyr turn in a share dealing round.
If they are unaware of the rules relating to these they should ask.
They are permitted, even encouraged, to communicate with each other. There are no restrictions on the porkies they tell each other, and no obligation, within the framework of this game, to keep deals they've made, although they should remember that future deals could be prejudiced by breaking an existing one.
The one thing they must not do is attempt to mislead me.
All comment that I will make on the state of the game will be pure uninformed speculation.
In the distributed zip file they will find, a map, tile sheets giving the orientations that I use, MSK details, Share Price Index, How I will handle the Receiver, Optional PC rule and a copy of the "house rules"
The results will be e-mailed to them in a zip file containing all the game results in a pdf document plus pdf files of all the maps.
The results and maps will be published on the web site. Their e-mail addresses will not be published on the web site.
If they require clarification of any point they should ask.
OK then, let speculation commence, orders for SDR 1 to me by the deadline.
